The Good:
- DOMOOOOOON! I was seriously shocked when he came up to me, ahahaha
- despite the rain on Saturday, I had a fun time doing my photoshoots!
- EUREKA 7 GROUP ON SATURDAY OMG!!1111111 there was an Eureka, Renton, Gidget, Holland, but I didn't see Talho ;0;
- Mecha Fest, though not as enjoyable as last year's
- lines for registration were non existent!
- dude who recognized David's Gyan shirt, and they went into this whole UC Gundam discussion lol
- seeing mostflogged working in the Dealers Room, who complimented me on my Anemone costume X3
- meeting Feez and Sentenal from ANWO and talking until they kicked us out of the galleria
- aoi_no_tenshi finding me on Saturday and getting a pic with her!! :3
- It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia!! KITTEN MITTENS COMMERCIAL
- staffer who saw me and said,"Oh, a cute and adorable Anemone! You just made my day!"

The Bad:
- David was sick all weekend D:
- not taking as many pictures as I would've liked, a combination of me being pissed off at my camera and the quality of costumes =/
- the Gundam panel being the same exact shit as last year's, series bashing and QUALITY? Yeah, been there done that.
- Anemone shoes have killed my feet once again, yipee
- kinda wasted a day coming in on Thursday, when we could've drove in on Friday instead :|
- too much moe moe shit in the Dealers Room, I didn't find any Shunya figures that I absolutely wanted
- mass caramelldansen, please go kill yourselves now
- lack of anything interesting as far as panels or video rooms goes
- lots of kids, seriously! the pedos need to skip ALA and come to AWA instead
- seeing samu_chan with her group, but when I turn around for a minute to check something she disappeared DX
- asshole who yelled at Isamu85 while we were doing our photoshoot >___<

The Ugly:
- driving to Atlanta in pouring rain, why the fuck do they not light their freeway signs at night??
- being drop dead tired early Saturday night
- escalators being broken half the time?
- MISSING MY CHANCE TO TAKE PICS OF THE SERPICO AND FARNESE COSPLAYERS AHH OMG I WANTED TO CRY
- crappy Seychelles cosplayers were crappy :B
- "Who are you cosplaying from? Oh, Allenby from G Gundam? Why that's my favorite character and series!" it's okay, you don't have to lie lol
- rooms being either too cold or too hot
- I have like, 15 cupcakes leftover that's sitting in our fridge DX
- people who think just because they're at a con it gives them an excuse to be fucking assholes

The WTF:
- seeing Vig Mangina walk right past me as we were eating lunch, I should've asked for a pic, just for amandier lol
- miserable weather all weekend, and having all day headaches from Thursday until today
- random guy making weird/suggestive comments about Rika when I was buying my Rena figure >___>;;
- femme Russia? idk
- us judging people by what kits they pick up lol I mean, doesn't everyone else do that? ^^;;
- "I'm not seeing as many crossdressers today... or maybe they're getting better at it?" OH SHIT
- people asking me for hugs when I was wearing Anemone, I don't mind it's just a bit weird

- hanging out with android_raptor on Friday, never a dull moment with her, let me tell you lol
- watching The Hulk on tv, I think we caught maybe half of it? I thought it was kinda cute and sappy :B
- random lady asking David what was going on during my photoshoot, and they started talking about politics and social issues??
- another random lady who asked for my pic, saying she was here for a CPA meeting and found the con interesting and intriguing! XD

Yeah, not the full typed up version but it will do until I get home and type it up on my computer... I find this keyboard kinda aggravating, I don't care if it's wireless or not. I'm still waiting on pictures, or a proper program to resize pictures as my mom doesn't have Photoshop installed on this computer NOOOOOOOOOOO, and the program I was using on this thing sucks (makes the photos look scrunched up and weird looking!). I'm sorry if I missed mentioning anyone, I didn't do it on purpose and this is just key points and stuff that happened during the con? Yeah. Thanks for reading!!

I finally get around to checking my e-mail and shit, and find out that the director and producer of LoGH is going to be at Otakon this year. GODDAMMIT.

Anyway. We're back from the con, which was okay I guess. I didn't get to run into many people as I thought I would, the con itself was really kinda blah in terms of things to do (wasn't too interested in any panels or events going on), but the people we were with more than made up for it. I'm already planning for next year's trip. lol

I'm sure I'm missing some stuff, but yeah... there's a rundown of ALA, overall it was a boring con but I'd still like to go back again next year because I had a blast hanging out with amandier! :D I'll probably only book a room for Friday - Sunday, as Thursday was a waste of time, and only pack 2 costumes (one for Friday/Saturday, and then another for Sunday). I better start stocking up on Febreeze, Oust, pepper spray, and mace to fend off the con funk and pedophiles. >___> I've never been to a con where it's been THAT bad before, Jesus Christ.

Anyway, guess I better go get something to eat and put up the rest of my luggage. I need to start organizing my shit, as we're going back on Thursday. *sigh* I miss my cat, and our new apartment, not looking forward to having to come home to everything else (bills, having to find a new job, and Georgia in general).

OMG I HAVE WORK TOMORROW AT 4PM WUT. Also, I am now officially 25. A quarter of a century old. XD

I know most of it sounds horrible, but I still had a good time as we got to hang out with /m/ people. :D We stayed at the super fancy pants Hampton Inn and Suites, which is hella nice though next year I'd like to see about getting a room at the Waverly (ha, which is probably unlikely as they run out of rooms almost instantly) or the Sheraton. Originally, we weren't going to come at all on Sunday but figure we should do a last run in the Dealers Room, then spent about an hour or something sitting in the lobby making fun of people and talking about random shit before parting ways. ;___; Daybid and I did a tourist-y thing and spent a chunk of the afternoon visiting the Georgia Aquarium, which was really nice despite the lack of penguins (nooooooo) and kids on the loose. Hello, parents. I didn't take any pictures as it was just kinda nice to stand around and absorb all the sights and sounds, if that made any sense. ^^;;

Okay, I'm really tired and can maybe squeeze in 6 hours of sleep before having to drag my ass to work at 7am tomorrow. >___< How I've missed you so, dear internet and people who live inside my computer. :3 Full con report coming soon, hopefully before the end of the week depending on whatever crazy hours I'll have to work heh.

I'll have 3 costumes to finish before Anime Weekend Atlanta which is about a month from now, but it won't be until the end of this month when I'll be able to purchase fabric and materials. >___< It'll be hectic but I'm still excited as Daybid will be cosplaying with me, and it'll be the first time I attempt making a set of costumes for someone other than myself. lol Anyway, yeah I gotta go eat dinner now.

YEAH, SO LIKE... OTAKON AND STUFF. I guess it was okay for my first Otakon evar? I was literally clinging to Loran the whole time (sorry lol, but I would've cried like a little bitch if I got lost), but had fun hanging out with Gamera and his friend Brian, and the Studio Aborted Creativity guys who were kind enough to let me join them for dinner on Sunday. I didn't pick up much compared to Anime Expo, but I was mainly interested in buying gashapon anyway:



I'm sending Apharamd (Virtual On) and Stupid Sexy Lockon to NightmareShade, Basch and Grapple (grape and apple wut) are for Daybid, while the Raideen and Lemnear ones are mine. lol Oh yeah, the SD Ball plush is mine too, it's so rare to find those plushies these days yknow? I also picked up ROCKET PUNCH!! (Aborted Creativity's first artbook), which they all signed, along with a ton of stickers... I would've bought more if US Airways didn't rape me up the ass with their checked baggage fees. Asshats.

Overall, it was okay, not great but not terrible either. WEST COAST DOES IT BETTER, IMO. XD XD XD I feel more at home at Anime Expo, for obvious reasons I'd like to think. >_> Anyway, it might be a bit until I get around to typing up a proper con report as I want to catch up on Macross Frontier, Sky Girls, Armored Trooper Votoms, and play some Federation VS Zeon in a bit.
