JESUS CHRIST WORK IS KILLING ME. ;___; I survived my 4th year working on Black Friday, work's been physically, mentally, and emotionally draining me + I've had a lot of stuff on my mind lately + we're moving in 2 weeks and going on vacation in 3 weeks. STRESS AHOY. I haven't been able to work on any of the costumes I had planned for ALA so instead, I'll be bringing:

Ranka Lee (Anata no Oto/Aimo Memorial Day) from Macross Frontier - I just need to get around to making a matching pink hair bow, and I might add some more wefts to the back of the wig as I cut it short when I originally styled it. :( I know it's not a huge deal, but I'd still like to fix it. I also need to putty the back of the heart pendant and spray it gold again.

Ibis Douglas from Super Robot Wars Alpha 2 - because BAWWW NO LOVE FOR IBIS, and goddamn I spent way too much fucking time on this costume, so why the fuck not. The wig needs to be restyled a bit because I've kept in storage since Otakon, and redoing the patches since the 3D Table patch got messed up. >___< Luckily, the peel right off so it'll be easy to replace, and now that I have a better idea of just how to line stuff, the jacket will be lined... finally!

I bought the shirt at AWA this year, and it was originally a Japanese Medium, which is probably closer to an Adult Small here in the US (I wear a Juniors XS, or Girls Medium 10-12). I used a pattern to make it fitted, and total time spent which includes cutting out the pattern paper, the t-shirt, and sewing it back together: about 2 hours. ^^;; I've never done something like this before, so I'm quite proud of how it turned out, and I managed to not fuck up a $30 t-shirt. lol I have a Higurashi and Sonic t-shirt I'll be doing next, kinda excited to get started on them this weekend because I *gasp* have Saturday and Sunday off.

I look weird without my glasses? I need to trim up the long side bangs to make them more "rounded" and will probably start working on the actual costume next month, might debut it at Momocon if we can manage to go this year, if not then AX for sure. I probably should dye it darker, so it's more of a chocolate brown color. *grumbles*

We finally have these pictures from like, a month ago. lol Yeah, I don't know shit about trigger discipline but it was fun to hold those guns even though they probably weighed as much as I do. Everyone found it amusing that I'm wearing my Hello Kitty hoodie, which you totally can't see in the pictures heh. n___n
