that has to be the most random compliment I've received at work recently. ^^;; I got promoted, and I'm getting a raise (though I didn't ask on the spot because it would've been kinda tacky imo, and there were other people in my boss' office at the time), just kinda wondering how this is all going to work out come end of December when I need time off. >___>

Despite taking a 2 hour nap as soon as I got home, I still managed to clean up my side of the living room, kitchen, dust and wipe off my figures and desk, fold and iron clothes, and bake brownies (just fyi, Crisco is not an ideal substitute for vegetable oil lol)! Last night Daybid and I talked on MSN while I did my internet stuff downstairs, and he worked on his programming upstairs, passing random YouTube links to each other in between. XD I (re)introduced Portishead to him, I had no idea they released an album this year what the fuck, last I remembered sometime back in 1999/2000 they went on hiatus or some shit with no word if they were ever coming back. I remember buying one of their albums on cassette back in high school, geez, that was how long ago now?



Finally found out where this came from, haha (specifically the last panel as she resembles Anemone from Eureka 7, minus the boobage of course). XD



I love this song when the guitar and bass kick in at about 2:39.
