I can't fall asleep, but what else is new, eh? Loli Haman shoes are in, David's graduation gift is in as well, Albel's birthday is today, and I'm expecting my Rosammy fabric and loli Haman wig to be in today or tomorrow. I think I might have to go to teh HobLob tomorrow to pick up my last paycheck (and all those old paystubs haha), which is fine as I need to pick up some patterns and notions anyway.

It's been ho-hum around here, I did manage to scare the crap out of the neighbors earlier this week? XD Our neighbors on both sides of us decided it's appropriate for them to stand IN OUR FUCKING DRIVEWAY to talk while their little ratdogs ran around in our yard, peeing in their usual spots. I know where their dogs shit too, because as small as they are it smells worse than cat shit. >___> One of our bedroom windows faces the driveway, I was keeping watch through the blinds, so the second one of their dogs started shitting, I was gonna pull the blinds open and start banging on the window. A few minutes pass, I get bored and open our front door wide open, lock the screen door, and walk into the kitchen to get a drink. David said our neighbors both went "OHSHIT" grabbed their ratdogs, and ran back into their houses lol If you're going to let your ratdog shit in my yard, and not have the decency to pick up after your pet, you're damn right I'm gonna be a creeper and watch you and your dog from my windows. ESPECIALLY WHEN YOU STAND IN THE MIDDLE OF MY FUCKING DRIVEWAY FOR WHATEVER FUCKING REASON. Yeah, I know way to be mature about it, but it's more fun this way, and we'll be out of here soon enough!

I meant to post that over the weekend. OOPS. I wanted to get some pics taken outside, but the weather's been doom and gloom since Saturday. o___o The skirt's accurately short, total length is about 11" and it falls maybe 2" from my ass? I'm not wearing this to ALA without pantyhose on, considering all those pedocreeps amandier and I ran into last year. :| I don't plan on wearing it for too long, I'd just like to get some nice pics of this costume and I'll quickly change into something else. XD The next time I post something Haman-related, I'll hopefully have the costume complete with the shoes, base wig, and hair bows!

I've been up since 6am because I woke up from my stomach cramping again, and couldn't fall back asleep. :( It's been like this all day yesterday, I'd be okay for a few hours, it would cramp up really bad, and I felt miserable. I ended up not doing anything productive yesterday, so now I have a lot of catching up to do today. ;0;

I just checked my account and I've been refunded for most of it! Nice! I'm still switching banks in a few short weeks though. XD

Today was my last day of work, some of my coworkers got teary eyed, I'll miss working with most of the people there (keyword being most lol), but I won't miss the asshole customers I had to deal with on a daily basis. I don't know why, but in all of my years of working retail here, that store has the nastiest customers I've ever dealt with. Cheryl gave me a gift, a black and pink blown glass purse, it's really neat and cute looking, I'm just not sure what to do with it yet! XD I'm keeping it wrapped in the gift bag for now (that she decorated herself!), as I'd probably cry if it broke...

Everything's wrinkly because I haven't ironed yet lol, but I'm so proud of how clean everything looks (on the outside anyway XD)! The first few shots compare the old jacket, new jacket, and old thigh highs and the colors don't show up at all in these photos. The color difference is really noticeable in person, but you can at least see the texture of the fabrics? My new thigh highs came in the mail yesterday, the ones in maroon on the left are for an upcoming cosplay (err, sometime... next year), the ones in purple on the right are for Loli Haman. I found a turtleneck in the boys section of JC Penney for $6, so now I just need make the hair bows, purchase new shoes again, and find a suitable base wig. I'm gonna have a lot of fun with that last one, heh. Better pictures a.k.a. pics of me wearing the damn thing tomorrow, assuming I don't sleep in all day. lol

3 weeks until we leave?? OH SHIT

The second I clocked into work yesterday, my Manager calls me into the office and I'm thinking,"OH SHIT WHATEVER IT IS I DIDN'T DO IT D: D: D:" when she just wanted me to start keying in books so Laura (who's been there since 8am, I got in at 1pm) could go to lunch. It's simple enough, typing in 6 digit SKU numbers and the quantity needed, 'cept yknow there's 13 departments in the store with well over 50,000 items. XD You can guess who got stuck in the office for 4 hours straight, typing in orders for half of the store because I'm "fast" despite never bothering to learn how to 10-key. lol Work wasn't too, though I really don't understand how they expect to close such a huge store like that with less than 10 people working on a fucking Saturday, as it took us 2 goddamn hours after closing to recover and change out the ad signs.

Anyway, we ate at IHOP for late dinner with James and Kyle, they came back over to our house and we started watching Tropic Thunder (as David and I haven't seen it yet), but I ended up crashing about 20 minutes into the movie. XD I've been up since 6am, deciding if I should be lazy and crawl back into bed for a few more hours of sleep, or start doing chores around the house. Albel's being creepy, sitting on top of David's chair and watching me like a hawk for whatever reason. 0___o;; Up later this afternoon: GROCERY SHOPPING AND ERRANDS. YAY.

I think I like this band now, is that bad? :| I've known of this band for a while, but never bothered to listen to their stuff until Pandora played this on one of my stations. It's kinda weird seeing Jared Leto singing, as I'll always remember him as the blondie from Fight Club, or Jordan from My So-Called Life.

- sewing the purple parts? easy peasy! figuring out the damn sailor collar? FUCKING FORGET IT. I'm an idiot and somehow manged to throw away the pattern piece, so I had to make my own. u___u
- all that black trim on the collar? made by hand, because I'm anal retentive about all the fabric matching and it probably ate up 1/3 of my time so far. lol
- you can't see the color difference between the fabric at all, so hopefully I'll be able to take better comparison shots tomorrow before work. at least you can see the difference in texture?
- first costume I've tried facing the neckline to help hide the ugly ends of the sailor collar, it's not perfect... but it looks a helluva lot nicer now!
- what's left to do? iron down the collar some more, add the cuffs, hem up the front and sides!

Aww man, about half of my paycheck went straight to paying credit card bills and utilities, then about $400 from my next paycheck has to go toward paying another credit card. Then I'm going to turn around and use it to get Albel fixed, he's been marking things he shouldn't be like spots under our bed, and he seriously needs to calm the fuck down if he's moving with us. I know my mom's not too thrilled about us bringing him and having a cat in her apartment for a while, but she's never been fond of me having pets in general when I was growing up aside from fish. >___> I dunno what else... period, let's get this over with already, and I'm really not looking forward to Tuesdays now as we have to work 7am - 7pm shifts from now on. AWESOME. Only 4 more weeks of this crap? Fuck.

lol I sewed the jacket 2 years ago, had all intentions of wearing it to AWA that year but I could never find a base wig to my liking, and I hate custom dyeing anything. ^^;; I forgot I bought a white turtleneck to modify for this costume, it's stuffy and uncomfortable to wear, so I ended up switching shirts for these test pictures. ^^;; The skirt's from my wardrobe, thigh highs were purchased 2 years ago (these will be replaced as well!), and base shoes purchased from Payless. I know it's hard to tell apart the black from purple colors, and I have the skirt pulled up a bit so it rides up my ass (lol accuracy), but it's also hard to tell because of the mirror being at an angle. Again, these are just test pictures to give you an idea, progress is definitely coming up this weekend!

I slept in a good chunk of the day yesterday, and managed to get maybe 2 hours of sleep last night. e.e I'm dead tired already as I've been up all day, I'm rather proud of myself for not napping so hopefully that'll mean in the next hour or so I'll crash and get a solid 8-9 hours of sleep for once as Tuesday's always the most hectic day of the week. >___> I kept myself busy by doing some laundry, and I cleaned off my sewing desk and machine (so many dust bunnies!! D:) so it's good to go once all my materials are in!

idk what else... did I mention how tired I am? I just want the weekend to roll by already, so I can pay the rest of my bills, and stop worrying about stuff magically clearing into my account when I have no money. lol Wachovia doesn't play around when it comes to their overdraft fees. :|

Holy shit man, I'm getting 34-35+ hours now and not getting yelled at when I'm over? :O more hours = more money, but that also means I have zero free time now. *sigh* Wow, it's kinda scary (?) knowing that in 2 months David's going to be a college graduate officially on the 11th of December! I have 2-3 pay periods left until I leave my job, or about 5-6 weeks, while we planned on me not having to work at all during the month of November, some unexpected and unavoidable bills came up. :| Umm, not much else going on here... I managed to squeeze $20 for some loli Haman base shoes and materials (good thing I have plenty of black fabric to work with already!), so maybe some progress soon? I miss sewing and working on cosplay stuff now, of course it conveniently happens when I don't have money to buy fabric and materials, heh.

Ugh, tomorrow is going to be a long day, 12 pm - close, which could mean either 9pm or later depending how long it takes to get the stupid ads up for next week because I work with (mostly) a bunch of Slowkings when it comes to doing ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING IN THAT GODDAMN STORE. I've been so physically drained this entire week, a combination of really long work hours + not getting 7-8 hours of solid sleep per night has made me prone to near fainting spells since Tuesday (but it doesn't matter as long as I can still run the register, right?). :|

I'm a bit amused (?) that someone posted my Allenby on /m/, and d'awwed that someone mentioned me in one of the tripfag threads the other day. I've rarely browsed /m/ since the beginning of the year, and haven't posted under my trip since forever so it's kinda nice to be remembered, I guess.

Enjoying my birthday "get together" and had a nice dinner at Shane's, a local place that serves fan-fucking-tastic barbeque that's better than Tony Roma's imo. I had ice cream cake, and now we're going to play Apples to Apples (while drinking? lol), and possibly some RockBand if I can manage to get people to play, that is. :B I mean seriously, it's like pulling teeth at times. *sigh* Anyway, real update soon, hi hello to all my new friends from the Deadman Wonderland friending meme~ I still need to do some kinda intro post for you guys. lol

Manager person gave me Thursday - Saturday off, even though I said I could work the morning shift on Thursday? *shrug* I'm a bit worried about who's going to do the order for my department, but yknow what, at this point... fuck it. Our DM unexpectedly dropped by the other day to do a fucking stock test, when we weren't due for in until another 2 weeks at least, and grilled my Manager on some shit in my department that I haven't been able to get to because I've had several other things to attend to first. I know what needs to be done in my department, kthnx and he would've thrown an even bigger fit if I didn't complete my relays and project memos above everything else first. PRIORITIZING IS BAD? I HAD NO IDEA I WILL JUST DO THINGS HAPHAZARDLY FROM NOW ON OKAY.

Ok, so like con stuff, Imagawa's canceled as a guest (they gave no specific reason why) so now I don't feel so bad about not being able to even start on David's costume. Plus, it gets really freaking hot inside the Waverly so I guess it's sort of a good thing? ^^;; I can tolerate wearing an uncomfortable costume for long periods of time, but David? Definitely not, especially when you add batshit insane fangirls into the mix. XD I am an idiot and we missed online prereg, but we'll be arriving sometime in the late afternoon to early evening on Thursday, and at least registration is open until 10pm that night! I know it can't be as bad as having to wait OUTSIDE to pick up our goddamn badges at AX this year... panel wise there isn't anything too terribly interesting, and the video room schedules have yet to be posted so it looks like the con will be a lot of hanging out in the balconies, making fun of people in the lobby. XD Hmm, maybe karaoke on Saturday? I keep saying I want to do karaoke at a con, but just never got around to it. lol

Wow, work's been kicking my ass this week, thank god after tomorrow I have Sunday and Monday off, as it's Labor Day. I really don't mind working Saturdays anyway, I just hate having to put new sales signs up, which is really annoying. @_@ I managed to get my order done, finish my change/deletes (clearanced items and price changes), and get all of my sendouts (non orderable items, and just shit the warehouse sends to the store) out of the stockroom in about 4-5 hours all together. I was out of there by 1pm, and to give you an idea it takes most people their entire shift just to do their order alone. I just had to get out of there, I'm tired of being the backup cashier and expected to do a million other things, but it's no use bringing it up to management as they don't want to hear any of it. I'm really glad to see that they care. :|

Anyway, 2 weeks until AWA? Of course, the one pattern that I absolutely needed was backordered, though I didn't find out until I received the other patterns I ordered in the mail on what? Tuesday I think it was. THANKS GUYS. I can try to make due with the pattern I used for Sweden's trench coat, but I'd like to have less seams for Schwarz, which will take some super pattern modifying. My Allenby wig and wefts are in too, but I worry that the color might be too light or not turquoise enough? Holding it up to my RAH DX figure, it's nearly spot on but looks a tad light depending on the lighting. >___<
